The story
Redder was born from a conversation between nutrition scientist Patrik Borg and former professional footballer Antti Niemi. Their discussion turned to nutritional practices in elite European football organizations, particularly the use of beetroot shots before matches and high-intensity training sessions.
This sparked a simple question: could a similar high-quality nitrate product be developed in Finland, with full control over its origin and production process?
The farm
Redder is made from beetroot grown at Mäkipere Farm, a Finnish family farm where cultivation is practical, hands-on and uncompromising.
The beets are grown with care, washed, peeled and pressed into juice on site by the farmer himself. Nothing added that doesn’t belong — just beetroot, as your system understands it.
